What is the PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard?
It is an annual report that identifies leading solar module manufacturers that have excelled in their Product Qualification Programme (PQP). This year marked the tenth edition of this report.
Innovation in Hail Resistance
Jinko Solar once again distinguished itself by being one of only two manufacturers worldwide to be recognised as a Top Performer in all editions of the scorecard. In this special edition, Kiwa PVEL raised the bar by introducing the hail test category, known as Hail Stress Sequence (HSS). This test subjects PV modules to hail impacts ranging from 35 mm to 55 mm. Jinko Solar, a pioneer in offering hail-resistant modules, stood out with its EAGLE G6 series, which received a special distinction in this category.
